Set 5 of Phase I marked the start of designing more character focused jewelry. During the time this was designed, the only character in the main cast that had a somewhat fleshed out character design was Pallidas Mojave, who is associated with plant-based imagery and death symbols. Aside from these, the main style referenced were jade carvings and metalwork with jade inlay, things associated with Ancient Chinese jewelry and talismans, as a way to connect to the lore of the character. This set focuses on combining neck armor with different patterns associated with Pallidas, including some designs that came as a product of side-tracking.
